Thank you for considering St. Peter’s to be a part of your family’s and your child’s faith journey! We are so happy to guide you through this Sacrament and special moment in your child’s spiritual life. Infant Baptism
Please join our Baptism Flocknote Group to begin the registration process.
Once you join the group, you will be sent a welcome email with a link to the registration form, as well as upcoming Baptism Preparation and Celebration dates. All updates and communication regarding Baptism are sent through emails registered with Flocknote. If you don’t register, you won’t receive any Baptism communications.
Infant Baptism is for children six years old and under. The Diocese of Calgary recommends that parents participate in Baptism Preparation every three to four years. There is no fee for Baptism.
Baptism Preparation for 2024/2025 consists of two parts. Parents are to complete the online Belonging Course at home before they attend one in-person session. Sessions are scheduled monthly, and a link to the Belonging Course will be shared with you once you join our Flocknote group.

School Age Baptism – Fall 2024 Registration is Now Open!
School Age Baptism is for children ages 6 or 7 (depending on maturity) to 11. At this age (the age of reason), children can decide for themselves (with the consent of their parents) if they want to be Baptized into the Catholic Church. We offer the program in the Fall and Spring. Registration for the Fall Session is now open. If you have any questions regarding School Age Baptism, please email baptism@st-peters.ca or call 403.286.5110.

All Sessions are at St. Peter’s in the Church Sanctuary on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. *

Adult Baptism and the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
If you are an adult eighteen years and older and want to learn more about the Catholic Faith and the process of becoming Catholic, please go to our Interested in Becoming Catholic page on our website. This journey and process is for Adults from other Christian Traditions or no faith background seeking the Sacraments of Initiation and welcome into the Catholic Faith (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), as well as Baptized Catholics who have not received Eucharist or Confirmation.
