Kathy has been a member of the St. Peter’s Parish community for more than 25 years. She has been privileged to serve in many ministries and on various committees. Currently, Kathy serves as the Chairman of the Finance Council, coordinating Volunteer Screening and Ministries and as a catechist for the RCIA program. These roles are integral to her belief that the stewardship of our time, talent and treasure, enable us to help people strengthen their relationship with God and the Church. Her passion is for study and evangelization, for leading faith formation studies, through undertaking her own study in theology and providing leadership training and mentoring. Professionally, Kathy works at Alberta Health Services in the Information Technology department, directing teams that support healthcare computer systems around the province. Her community involvement extends to Girl Guides, Toastmasters, Special Olympics, Softball and Running.
