Building Maintenance Committee
What is it?
The Building Maintenance Committee helps ensure that the physical church building and surrounding property are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This team provides support for ongoing upkeep, small repairs, and larger maintenance planning to preserve the integrity and beauty of our parish facilities. Whether it’s fixing a door, coordinating contractor work, or helping with seasonal tasks, this ministry plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in the life of the parish.
How to Volunteer
Volunteers with skills in trades, general maintenance, project planning, or simply a willingness to lend a hand are always appreciated. Whether you’re available regularly or only occasionally, your help makes a difference.
What They Need from Volunteers
- Individuals with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general handyman skills
- People available for seasonal maintenance (e.g., snow shoveling, lawn mowing)
- Volunteers who can help assess and plan for long-term maintenance needs
- Extra hands for one-time projects as they arise
Joining the Building Maintenance Committee is a practical and meaningful way to serve the parish community, using your talents to care for our shared spiritual home.
