Music Ministry
What is it?
The Music Ministry at St. Peter’s exists to support and enrich the celebration of the Mass and other liturgies through sacred music and by welcoming and encouraging the song of the congregation. With five active choirs, our ministry brings together singers and instrumentalists of all ages and levels of experience to lead the congregation in prayer through song.
Music is carefully selected to reflect the liturgical season and readings, inviting all present to participate more deeply in worship. In addition to Sunday Masses, the choirs collaborate for special liturgies throughout the year, including Holy Week, Easter, Confirmation, and First Communion.

How to Volunteer
New singers and musicians are always welcome! Whether you’re an experienced vocalist or instrumentalist, or simply someone who loves to praise God through music, we invite you to reach out. Each choir rehearses regularly, and participation is scheduled based on your availability and the liturgical calendar.
What They Need from Volunteers
- Singers and Instrumentalists: Join one of our existing choirs for weekend or special Masses.
- Substitute Musicians: Be available to step in when needed.
- Tech-Minded Volunteers: Help coordinate with the AV team to ensure smooth musical presentation.
The Music Ministry is a powerful way to serve God and the parish by helping others encounter Christ through sacred song. If you feel called to share your musical gifts, we’d love to hear from you.
