Paratus Young Adult Group

What is it?

The Paratus Initiative is St. Peter’s young adults group for men and women aged 20–35 seeking to grow in faith, build authentic friendships, and live out the Gospel in today’s world. Named after the Latin word Paratus, meaning “prepared in all things,” the group draws inspiration from 1 Peter 3:15:

“Always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within you, but do so with gentleness and respect.”

Through Scripture, prayer, discussion, and community, Paratus aims to equip young adults to walk with Christ more boldly and faithfully.

The group generally meets 2–3 times a month, typically on Friday evenings. Each get-together offers a chance for faith formation, fellowship, food and fun. Whether you’re just beginning to explore your faith or looking for a supportive Catholic community, there’s a place for you here.
