Prayer Chain
What is it?
The Prayer Chain is a ministry of faithful Catholic Women’s League (CWL) members who offer confidential prayer support for those experiencing illness, hardship, or other needs. It is a quiet but powerful way to uphold members of our parish and community in times of difficulty, through the spiritual work of intercessory prayer.
Who to Contact
To learn more or to join the Prayer Chain, see the details in the bulletin.
How to Volunteer
Membership in the Prayer Chain is open to members of the Catholic Women’s League. If you are already part of the CWL or interested in joining, becoming part of the Prayer Chain is a meaningful way to serve others from home. No meetings or in-person commitments are required – just a commitment to pray faithfully for the intentions shared with the group.
What They Need from Volunteers
- New Members: Parishioners who feel called to support others through prayer are always welcome.
- Discretion: All prayer requests are treated as confidential.
- Prayerful Commitment: Volunteers receive regular updates and are asked to hold the intentions in prayer during their personal prayer time.
How to Submit a Prayer Request
If you have a loved one in need of prayer or are facing a difficult situation yourself, you can submit a confidential prayer request at any time.
See the bulletin for details on where to send your requests.
Joining the Prayer Chain is a quiet but meaningful way to support others in their time of need and to deepen your own relationship with Christ through prayer. If you feel called to this ministry, we welcome you to get in touch.
